Maturity to the Max
May2009 and May 2010 AT WOOLOOWARE GOLF CLUB
The Lioness Club's inaugural "Maturity to the Max" seminar proved to be very popular with the ninety ladies that attended the seminar at the Woolooware Golf Club. The three speakers held the attention of all present , the seminar started at 1.30pm and at the conclusion of the afternoon the ladies congregated to ask further questions to the presenters, showing that there is a need for this type of support program.
Practice Nurse Lee Dunn explained to the audience the importance of following up on health issues such as breast screening and pap smears etc. as well as giving valuable hints on how to feel better in their health and giving inspiration and information on how to enjoy their midlife as a wonderful new phase of life.
Natural Therapist Rhonda Campbell explained the importance of natural therapies in our everyday life by managing nutrition.etc.
Stylist Pam Petherbridge gave a very informative presentation on deportment and personal grooming development as well as hints on makeup, clothing etc. secrets on how to look and feel 10years younger, slimmer and more stylish.
Just to finish off the day , the ladies enjoyed a Belly Dance performance, showing just what you can achieve if you really want an all-round exercise program!
This successful event was repeated in May 2010 with 100 women hearing advice from Naturopath Christine Youseff Practice Nurse Lee Dunn, Fashion Stylist Pam Petherbridge, Hair & Beauty Professional Jamie Carroll , Jokatz Nails & Beauty and Psychotherapist Deena Thompson.
